Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is the office responsible for facilitating individualized accommodations for undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students with disabilities. Guided by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, SAS supports our community’s ongoing work to create and maintain an accessible and inclusive environment.
The Office of Institutional Equity and Accessibility (OIEA) is responsible for facilitating individualized accommodations for staff and faculty. In addition, the Director of OIEA serves as the University’s ADA Coordinator.
Yale University is committed to providing equal access to guests and visitors with disabilities. Guests or visitors seeking an accommodation to participate in a University program, activity or service are encouraged to contact the hosting department or event planner at least five days prior to arrival or participation.
