Student Accommodations

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is the office responsible for facilitating individualized accommodations for undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students with disabilities. Guided by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, SAS supports our community’s ongoing work to create and maintain an accessible and inclusive environment.

Workplace Accommodations

As of April 1, 2023, Human Resources facilitates the Staff Accommodations Program. The Office of Institutional Equity and Accessibility facilitates the Faculty Accommodation Program and also coordinates accommodations for job applicants. 

Visitor Accommodations

Yale University is committed to providing equal access to guests and visitors with disabilities. Guests or visitors seeking an accommodation to participate in a University program, activity or service are encouraged to contact the hosting department or event planner at least five days prior to arrival or participation.
