Disability Community Stories

Disability Community Stories is an opportunity to raise awareness, foster and expand community, and normalize disabilities. Four Yale employees share their true experiences of how disabilities have impacted their lives.

This event is held virtually and in-person at the Sterling Memorial Library Lecture Hall. Everyone will receive the Zoom link, regardless of which ticket you select.

The virtual event will include live captioning. If you require accommodations, contact the Office of Institutional Equity and Accessibility by Thursday, December 1.

Mental Health Essentials for Parents: Knowledge and Skills to Support Your Kids

All children are sad, anxious, irritable, or aggressive at times. Occasionally kids find it challenging to sit still, pay attention, or interact with others. In most cases, these are just typical phases in their development. However, these behaviors may indicate a more serious problem in some children. Without attention, these mental health conditions can prevent children from reaching their full potential.

Healing Toward Wholeness – A Communal Wellness Check-In

Please join Yale’s affinity groups and the National Alliance on Mental Illness for a virtual community wellness check-in. In light of recent events, such as: the Buffalo supermarket shooting, Robb Elementary School shooting, and the Supreme Court Decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, we have decided to host a safe space to check-in on the health and well-being of our Yale community.
