YVN and DAY Spring Social

The Yale Veterans Network (YVN) and DiversAbility at Yale (DAY) Annual Spring Social will take place at the Yale Farm on Monday, May 8th from 4:30-6:30 pm. Socialize with friends, make new connections, and enjoy dinner provided by Bears BBQ, a veteran-owned restaurant. All are welcome! Please register in advance to help us plan.

VIRTUAL: Autism Spectrum Disorder: Helping Children on the Autism Spectrum Build Emotional Resilience

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a common childhood psychiatric disorder that affects social communication and may be associated with repetitive behavior, sensory sensitivities, and unusual interests. This presentation will discuss current approaches to assessment, treatment, and educational services for autism with an emphasis on building emotional strengths and resilience in autistic children. Review parenting strategies and cognitive-behavioral interventions for reducing anxiety and irritability with Dr.

Are you tired of yo-yo dieting? Want to feel energized, and improve your health, but don’t know where to start? Join our very own Eliana Serna, Functional Nutritionist and Integrative Health Coach, for an interactive virtual workshop on February 13 from 12-1 pm to craft your energy road map.

In the workshop, we will discuss:

• Balanced meals and satiety
